Lastest Gig:

Cléa was noted for her Poetry and  Songwriting from a very early age, gaining a prestigious music scholarship at the age of 13.  She gained recognition for being a clever, thought provoking songwriter and musician which saw her in the finals of national competitions such as "Build a Band" for Glastonbury  festival, and  LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) "Make it Break it" Awards.

Having spent time touring the music festivals up and down the country prior to going to the University of Leeds to study music, she started to produce her own EPs, a range of themed "Pockets",  and focused her performances in and around the Leeds area. She has played some iconic Leeds venues such as the Brudenell Social Club and the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall, having been invited to perform support slots for renowned artists such as Marcus Foster, members of Fairport Convention and blues legends Rick Franklin and Sonny Black.

Known to us in Rothbury for her music performances, she has appeared on several radio programmes around the country, including our own Lionheart Radio.

She has a passion for helping others through music and gained a Masters Degree in Music Therapy at UWE in Bristol.

She now works all over the South of England building a reputation using her music therapy and friendly teaching methods, reaching children and adults of all ages.

In her busy life she still manages to squeeze in the occasional performance and so we are very lucky to have her at Holysmoke for May’s gig.
